For some reason, I think that kids can smell "Picture Day". It's like this 6th sense they have about them. Really, Kacey and I were talking about it. They get whinny, and angry... and just downright naughty and uncooperative as soon as the camera comes out. Little buggers. Gotta love 'em though (I think I remember reading that somewhere in the parent handbook or something like that: You gotta love your kids).
Anyways, Kacey showed you the "true side" of her family, so I think it's only fair to show you ours. {taking a deep breath} Ok. I think I'm ready. Oh dang, this is gonna be embarrassing... really embarrassing.

In this shot, I wanted us to all be holding hands, and no one wanted to cooperate. Apparently I'm some sort of wicked witch from the west because both of my children look like they do not like me here. Hopefully they know that I only get that way during "Family Picture" time! ;) Yay for family picture time!

Here I'm asking Alli why she is being such a stinker. I still haven't gotten a decent reply from her. And you can see Josh asking Kacey if she was taking a picture of this mess, because he wanted to show everyone what our family was really like. ;) Don't worry Josh, she got it all right.

In this picture, you can see me trying to sweet talk Alli into being good by reminding her we promised to take all the kids out for icecream if they were good. Wanna know a secret?! We never did go out for icecream last night. Are you suprised? I'm not. Definitley not at all.

You can probably guess what's going on here. Alli has finally decided to play nice, but now Blake isn't willing to hold her hands. Everytime Josh or I asked him to hold Al's hand he'd say "no". Dang kid. What does it take to get an awesome shot around here?! Too bad they are too young to be swayed by money. 'Cause I honestly think it might have resorted to that last night.

Looks like another one of those 'remind me, again, why we had children' days, but they're cute just the same.
