It's a pretty great picture, yeah?! I like it, I really do. But, being in love with texture and all... I decided that I wanted to give it a little oommpphh. Know what I mean, Vern?
Adding texture to a picture is really fairly easy. It's pretty much just overlapping your "texture" picture ontop of your original and messing around with opacity, lighting, curves and the like. {*tap tap* "Is this thing on?"}
Anyways... so I played with my shot a little. I opened my little arson of texture weapons (really, just a bunch of random pictures I've taken of old, weathered things) and got to work. I found two textures that I really liked (loved actually) and I layered them together. Here's the final result:
Isn't that, {turn your valley girl voice on} 'like, totally so much better?' Well, I guess I don't really care what you think ('cept I really really REALLY do care)... I like it. Seriously though, I really do care what you think. Promise! ;)
