Southeast Idaho Photographers - Inspirational Art

S post

It's so much fun being able to have beautiful wall art that is also very personal. Take this piece for instance. This isn't just any 'ol pair of shoes. The parents of the missionary these shoes belong to asked us to document these shoes for their son. Two years really took their toll on these puppies- just look at the heels. Obviously the wear and tear shows how hard their missionary worked, and who wouldn't want that documented? You might not always keep the shoes, but the art work will last forever. Priceless.

Southeast Idaho Photographers

Yay for warmER weather. And I do stress warmER. It still isn't hot yet (which I can't wait for), but it's better than SNOW. Almost anything is better than snow. Am I right?! I'm loving experimenting with nature. It's been so much fun! All of these photos were taken in my own yard. Lovin' every minute. Thanks PW for your 'Soft and Faded' action. It gave my photos that 'perfect touch'. *Bree

Cold and Silent.

Photobucket
I had the opportunity to go hunting for the first time ever with my hubs. I was not actually hunting but I did take some pictures. This picture sums up the experience for me. Cold and Silent as I was barely holing on, strapped to the tree stand. I don't have to be hunting to feel like that though. Some days I feel like I am barely holding on as the sun sets. I hope that everyone has an amazing Thanksgiving break and that we all may be able to hold on to the things that are most important.
With lots of love and Gratitude to those close to me in my life, and you out there who support Bree and I.
Thank YOU!

Loving every minute!

Happy HAPPY day! I FINALLY got my new camera today. WAHOO! You should have seem me opening it. I felt like a kid on Christmas. 'Bout bloody time it came I'd say. I've only been waiting for like a month or something like that and I think the mail man was beginning to think I was forming some sort of crush on him (ewww). Anyways, I was so excited to put our new lens and my new camera together and have some fun. Here's a series of some of the shots I was able to take this evening. And yes, that is a regular size dandelion (not one of those steroid guzzlers I've seen so much of lately- (You remember? I took a shot of one a few weeks back). So, pretty cool 'eh? I love how the little seed things look like eyelashes. So fun!

There is beauty all around!

Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. To some, these weeds are obnoxious and ugly. Tonight, I was able to see them as something quite beautiful! What do you think? I love being able to see things in a new light, from a new perspective. Go out into the world, and take a second look at what you once thought was ugly. Make it beautiful!
