I don't know what could be more fun then getting to see new parents with their new baby girl...especially when Bree and I got to take the engagement pictures for this baby girls parents. There are no words to describe the joy that Bree and I get from getting to document our clients during the best times of their lives. Thank you Cory and Nichola! It's unavoidable. If I get out the camera, even for just a second... then my kiddos want to have their picture taken, too! So, taking advantage of the opportunity I had the boys strip off their shirts. My husband hates it, but I adore little kids (esp. boys) and bare skin. There's just something about the softness and the innocence that it adds. This photo just wouldn't be the same if they were wearing t-shirts, sorry Josh. :)

It's almost here! I am now 28 weeks along and I can see the light at the end of my pregnancy tunnel. Hopefully only about 9 weeks left and I'll be able to schedule my c-section, YIPEE! I got the itch to take a picture for a personal project I am working on and this is an image that I adore! I wanted one for myself, so I whipeed out my camera and started snappin' away. I had a lot of fun, but my kids thought I was crazy - shirt tucked up, and the camera raised high in the air. It was a sight to see I'm sure. Anyways, I love this shot! It's probably one of my favorites I have of myself. Might have to do with my face being excluded from the shot - but that's a whole other therapy session, folks. Go out and enjoy your day!

I have known Steph for quite a while. She is one of the coolest, most amazing women I know. Don't believe me?! Check her out here. She is a fitness guru - it blows me away! Steph is absolutely gorgeous and doesn't ever take a bad picture, so it's a blast shooting her. I took her out last Friday for some fun, and luckily we beat the snow! It was cold enough with the wind (poor Steph :) Here are just a few of the shots we got. Told you she was gorgeous.

Holy cow. This past couple of weeks has been crazy! I had two sick kids, and then had the pleasure of being sick myself. In fact, I am still fighting the bug, but luckily am getting better. You just get to a point where you are sick of being sick, and that is where I am today. :)
I figured that I better get around to posting pictures of my newest nephew, Donovan. I say this about all my nephews, but he is the absolute cutest little boy ever and it breaks my heart that he is so big now! Every day brings new changes for newborns, and even though he is only about a month and some old, he looks SOOO much different now. Sad day! Oh well, here are the newborn picks of my not-so-newborn nephew... enjoy! Love ya sis!

And this was an idea I came up with while driving up to Washington trying to beat Donovan's entry into this world. As I was driving through the Blue Mountains in Oregon, I was keeping myself occupied coming up with some fun shot ideas. Donovan's Dad (my brother-in-law) is a soccer (or should I say futbol?!) FREAK! And I came up with the funnest idea! It would have been fun if it would have been 100 degrees out so that would could have shot it in the grass, but I still think it is a fun shot, especially for Dad. {singing} Love it!

This is probably just about the cutest bunch of cousins that ever lived. I mean, my kids are pretty cute and all, but I absolutely ADORE my two nephews. I could just eat them up! I got more fun pictures of just Collin and Landon than I did of all three of my kids combined. Just looking at this picture makes me smile. These two are probably the best people ever. And no, it isn't because they are my parents and it isn't because I'm biased or anything of the sort. Truly and really, they are amazing. You would think that they were a newly wed couple and haven't been married for 20+ years already. Like I posted earlier, the photographers favorite picture is rarely the same as the clients. This is my favorite picture of my Mom and Dad EVER. No doubt about it. It truly shows you everything that you need to know about them. Fun, funny, caring, loving, in love... the list goes on. If Josh and I are half as happy as you two when we are your age, then we will be blessed. My life is infinitely better because of my parents, and I don't want to imagine where I would be without their love and support. Thank you both for all that you've done, and continue to do for our growing family - all of us. I love you!

Isn't it funny that the photographers favorite picture is rarely the family's (read Mom's) favorite picture. Somehow, I think that Justine is going to LOVE this picture. It's just this funny feeling I have, and it rarely steers me wrong.

These are her boys. Collin (on the left): totally done with pictures and then Landon (on the right): such a goofball. But, aren't they the cutest boys ever!? I mean, seriously I just want to squeeze them! I'm so entirely lucky to have them as my nephews. Honest to goodness, love me these boys. Yup. Sure do.

This little girl just turned 4! It seems like just yesterday that she came into this world. I would remember that day since I was the one who was shocked that my second baby could come 2 and 1/2 weeks early without any notice. Kenlee is very smart...too smart most of the time. She wants to be a MOMMY when she grows up. She loves All babies and all baby dolls. Notice one of her favorites (my doll when I was little) has blue eyes and blond hair. She is the little Mommy in our house, often trying to veto the Big Mom's final word. Kenlee, thank you for letting me take you and Holly out to take pictures, you are both perfect subjects.

I know that Bree is the fix-it-Friday queen, and I know that she is rolling her eyes right now as she reads this, but it is sooo true. I don't know why but I got the bug and had to try it this week. Nothing fancy but here is what I did
-small crop
-turned it black and white
-made her eyes a little more bright, and smoothed out the bumps and bruises on her forehead.
- ran PW's Seventies action and her lovely and eternal action as well.
- added the small border
